THE BFA ARATIATIA ADVENTURE

• Course distance range approx. 18km

• Tracks are mainly Grade 2 with some easy Grade 3

• Start Time: Waves from 10.30am

• By entering the Craters Classic, you can confirm that you are fully capable of participating and you acknowledge that you are physically fit, have sufficiently trained for this Event, and can confidently ride the grade of tracks in your chosen course.

2026 ‘ARATIATIA ADVENTURE’ Short Course Description:

Starting in Wairakei Resort, there will be a short ride within the Resort grounds, out the back of the hotel, to cross Karetoto Road (by GNS) and back on Wairakei Tourist Track, turn into Honey Track, down Fergusons and into the Huka Prawn Park, you will do a loop within the Prawn park, come out, you will turn left, left again then go across over the Red Bridge to join Aratiatia Dam Track,  then back under  red bridge and out to the dam, you’ll head across dam bridge, continue on the Aratiatia Loop track back towards Wairakei, into Contact track then follow the track behind Wairakei Resort to the finish line.
