Finishers Medals Coming in 2026!

At its heart, Craters Classic is about people.

It’s about riders, volunteers, supporters, and sponsors coming together for something bigger than race day.

We aim to create an epic experience, showcase the incredible trail network we’re lucky to ride, and of course, fund the trail work that keeps it all running.

The entry fee, every sponsor dollar, and every bit of support goes straight back into the mahi so the riding only gets better.

Because of that, we’re always careful about where we spend. Once the essential event costs are covered, what remains supports the ongoing work in places like Craters MTB Park and across our wider trail network.

Over the years, we’ve taken a more sustainable approach — moving away from traditional goodie bags and instead offering practical registration giveaways.

What’s Changing in 2026?

This year, we’re doing things a little differently.

Every participant will receive a finishers medal.

We know medals matter. They represent effort, commitment, and achievement. For many riders, they become a keepsake that marks the journey and the day. We’ve listened to previous feedback and we’re excited to add this to your race experience.

When you enter Craters Classic, you’re not just buying a ticket, you’re contributing to something bigger. In many ways, your entry is a donation back into the trails.

We’re doing everything we can to provide a great experience while keeping our focus where it belongs: on the riding, and on sustaining our trail network for the long term.
