Big thanks to Spark Business Hub Taupō!

Spark King Country are definitely not new to the Craters Classic family as partners, but this is their first time as official naming sponsor of the Wairakei Wizzer!

Here’s what Simon Fletcher, (business owner) had to say about why he loves to support us.

“I’m the owner of the Spark Business Hub King Country based in Tītīraupenga Street Taupo.  I’ve been mountain biking since bikes had square wheels, never competitively always a weekend warrior.  I’m passionate about getting out onto trails and have been fortunate to spend time around some beautiful spots on this gorgeous Motu. 

It was only natural that I worked with, and sponsor Bike Taupo, they do an amazing job and a lot of it goes unrecognised especially since the Cyclone.  The work to get the trails back as been nothing but outstanding. 

Craters is an iconic event on the MTB calendar and I’ve ben lucky enough to be involved several times, now I spend more time in Taupo it was only natural to sponsor the event.”
